Their gross mischaracterization of your statements definitely qualifies as libel. However, on the topic of cleansing, that of unhoused populations in LA seems far more egregious than that of technologists in SF, at least from my perspective. Los Angeles has been treating their unhoused communities as subhuman for far too long.
